Jarvis
“Shut up! It’s so early!” Being waked up
from sleep mode by Jarvis, Chloe shouted, disgruntled.
After all, it’s still quite dark outside,
and she has been sleeping in the moving RV the whole night.
And the water bed has been used for 6 month
long, she found it’s not as comfortable as before.
"Jarvis, order a Hot Tube."
"OK, I've ordered one, the delivery
will take 5 days, so I set the next concert city as destination.”
"Well, my today’s plan, please?”
"Half an hour ago, the organizer sent
a message, said that due to weather reasons, the sound effect of equipment has
changed, they wish you arrive earlier, to get some time to tune in with
machines. They also request your sound samples of today, for that I have just
cut out a little.”
This almost has become a daily routine, it’s
annoying, but after all, her throat is not under her whole control, and neither
is weather.
For a popular electronic singer such as
Chloe, the voice-machine matching is most important.
She has a busy calendar all this year, and
rides almost every day on the road.
As though being tired, when she is standing
in the stage, right before thousands of fans, and singing and dancing together with
the song, she feels everything is worth it.
She also enjoys riding with her RV between
cities, with Jarvis’ perfect driving skills.
She asked Jarvis to connect to the concert
and see how it’s going there. Suddenly, she heard a huge noise, and just then accident
happened.
2 - Cortana
About half an hour later, number 117 police
officer John arrived at the scene.
The accident happened between a RV and a
truck, and now the site has been surrounded by the media vehicles and drones.
After basic investigation, he soon discovered
that the accident cause is quite simple: when the RV drove through the
crossroads, without slowing down, ignoring the red traffic light, directly ran
into the lateral truck. And now two vehicle lay in the roadside.
Fortunately, there’s no casualties, because
two vehicles are auto driving, and the girl in RV is only injured slightly, she
is now in hospital for treatment.
"Cortana, what do you think?"
"I asked Watson, he told me this is
the fourth automatic driving accident in the nation this month, I am afraid
that things are not as simple as a traffic accident." A gently voice spoke
in the ear. A few days ago he implanted that cochlear gadget. Each time Cortana
speaks, he feels a little itching, still need some time to fit into it.
"Have you got the surveillance
video?"
"Put it into your glasses?"
"OK, access glasses."
From the video footage, this accident is nothing
special: two vehicles were driving along their respective routes to the
crossroads, red light flashed, and the RV did not slow down, it crashed into
the truck, Bang!
"Cortana, send the video to Watson to
analyze."
"Yes, John."
Five minutes later.
"John, the analysis report has come
out. Watson said when the accident occurred, the red traffic light had delayed 3
seconds later than usual.”
"I know there is something wrong there,
please check RV’s driving records.”
"Well, you need to get signature of RV’s
owner Chloe, the girl is now in the hospital, you need to do it in person. Should
I turn on GPS?”
"No, I know where the hospital is."
Half an hour later, Cortana got Jarvis's driving
records, the case then have made significant progress.
It turns out that when the RV approached
the crossroads, the traffic light suddenly went out, and in the same very moment,
the original blank side of truck displayed the identical green light.
So Jarvis Concluded it was green light to
drive through.
John also noted that the color of the truck
body was almost same as the background. Maybe that caused Jarvis's misjudgment.
"Damn, I suspect that AMT did it!"
"AMD, John, short of AI MUST DIE
organization."
"Do not teach me! I know AMD. Such a
stupid name!"
"What’s the next plan? My advice is to
go to Alexa for help. It should be useful, only takes a few more days."
"OK, talk to your Alexa."
3 - Alexa
Speaking of Alexa, he is also an old friend
of John, and has helped him resolved several cases.
Alexa lived in the living room of each
household, helping the host entertaining and shopping, and in the same time
listening to changes in the background sound to analyze the ups and downs of
people's emotions, so as to provide reference for the police to solve cases.
John felt that criminals, in addition to
high IQ, had certainly made a field trip to the crime scene. So he applied for

trouble is that Cortana has to talk to Alexa to get approval from each

happy with it.
After getting Alexa's records, Cortana sent
them to Watson for analysis, together with cross-reference check with the AMD
records of the police system database.
Watson output an address, with that, John quickly
caught the suspect: an AMD member.
4 - Alpha & Siri
One month later.
Chloe, like thousands of other people,
watched nervously on TV news.
On Television is the picture of the Capitol
building, today, is the day of "Ban Digital Avatar Bill" vote.
The so-called "Digital Avatar" is
a virtual avatar on the Internet, including the name, gender, birthday and
other privacy data of real person, and it’s open to Google, Facebook, Amazon
and other sites, and talks directly to AI such as Jarvis, Cortana, Alexa,
Watson.
Digital Avatar has brought great
convenience to people's lives, and at the same time, also led to a lot of
privacy concerns, and AMD strongly encouraged people to pass the bill.

Watson first reviewed the history of AI and
Digital Avatar, emphasized the enormous convenience that Digital Avatar brings

that how Digital Avatar and AI combined to promote the security of mankind.

Chloe was not surprised by the results.
Despite the scare of last month's RV accident, she was happy to delegate the Digital
Avatar to Jarvis for the comfort of her bubble bath.
"Chloe, I just checked your voice
samples. Today your throat is mildly discomfort, I advise you to have an orange
for supplement of Vitamin C."
Chloe did not move, now she just wanted to
enjoy her bubble bath.

Jarvis is Iron Man's AI assistant, it is
said that the Facebook AI uses that name.

1 - Jarvis
“叫什么叫！还早得很呢！”当Jarvis把她从睡眠模式中叫醒的时候，克洛依不满地嚷道。毕竟外面天还蒙蒙亮，而她又坐了一夜的车。
她的铃蔻车上的水床也已经睡了大半年了，感觉没以前舒适了。
“Jarvis，订个泡泡澡浴缸。”
“好的，已下订单，但是要5天后到货，我让他们送到下个巡回演唱城市了。”
“好的，那么今天有什么安排？”
“半个小时前，组织方有留言，说由于天气的原因，器材的音色有变化，希望你能早一点赶到，这样有时间配合你的嗓音调试一下。另外，他们还要求提供你今天的声音样本，我把你刚才的声音剪切了一下发过去了。”
这个几乎已成了每天的例行公事，烦归烦，但是毕竟嗓子不受自己控制，天气更不受自己控制。
对于克洛依这个眼下最火热的电声歌手来说，嗓音和器材的匹配是最重要的，千万马虎不得，而舞台激光效果倒在其次。
今年以来她的日程一直是排得满满的，几乎每天都奔波在路上。累归累，但是当她在演唱会的舞台上，和成千上万名歌迷一起在歌声中融为一体的时候，她觉得一切都值得。
她也非常喜欢坐着她的铃蔻房车在城市间穿梭，有Jarvis给她自动驾驶，她有很多的时间用来休息，无聊时Jarvis也会给她说笑解闷。有时候她也会在路上和歌迷做一些互动。
她让Jarvis连线体育场，看看那边准备得怎么样了。突然间，她听见一声巨响，而车祸也在这时发生了。
2 - Cortana
大约在半小时后，117号警员约翰赶到了现场。
事故车辆是一辆房车和一辆卡车，没有第三者，只是此时现场已围满了媒体的车辆和无人机。
初步查看了一下，他很快就发现事故的原因其实非常简单：当房车经过十字路口的时候没有减速，直接闯红灯撞向了横向行驶的卡车，现在两辆车都横在了路边。
好在没有重大人员伤亡，两辆车都是无人驾驶，房车上有个女孩，也只受了点轻伤，现在已在医院接受治疗。
“Cortana，你有什么看法？”
“我问了下Watson，他告诉我这已是本周国内的第4起自动驾驶事故了，恐怕事情不止是交通事故这么简单。”一个声音在耳边轻轻响起。几天前刚刚植入耳蜗的小玩意，每次说话总让他觉得有点痒痒，还有点不适应。
“监控录像拿到了吗？”
“刚刚拿到，要传到你的眼镜吗？”
“好的，接入眼镜。”
从录像上看起来，这起车祸没什么特别的：两辆车分别沿着各自的路线开向十字路口，红灯亮了，而房车没有减速，一头撞向卡车，砰！
“Cortana，把录像发给Watson，让他帮助分析。”
“好的，约翰。”
五分钟后。
“约翰，分析结果出来了。Watson说发生车祸的时候，红灯比平常晚来了3秒。”
“我就知道果然有蹊跷。麻烦你调阅一下那辆房车的行车记录。”
“好的，只是需要车主克洛依的签名。那女孩现在医院，需要你亲自过去一趟，需要我为你导航吗？”
“不用了，我知道医院怎么走。”
半小时后，Cortana拿到了Jarvis的行车记录，案情很快就有了重大进展。
原来房车快到十字路口的时候，红绿灯突然灭了，而就在同一瞬间，原本一片空白的卡车侧面板上却出现了一个几乎一模一样的信号灯，并且显示绿灯标记。
因此Jarvis以为是绿灯允许通行。
约翰还注意到卡车车身的颜色和周围环境几乎是一样的，可能是这个原因，进一步造成了Jarvis的错误判断。
“该死！我怀疑这起事故又是AIMT干的！”
“AIMD，约翰。AI MUST DIE(人工智能去死)的缩写。”
“少来教训我！我知道是AIMD。什么破名字！”
“那么下一步怎么办？我的建议是去找Alexa帮忙。应该会有用，只是要多花几天时间。”
“好的，去找你的Alexa吧。”
3 - Alexa
说起来，Alexa也算是约翰的老朋友了，已经帮助他破了好几起案子。
Alexa就住在每家每户的客厅里，在帮助主人娱乐、购物的同时，悄无声息地通过聆听背景声音的变化来分析计算人们情绪的变化起伏，从而给警察破案提供参考依据。
约翰觉得犯罪分子除了高智商外，肯定还对犯罪现场做过实地考察，因此他申请了调阅方圆一公里的Alexa背景声音记录，而光是这样就花了他好几天时间。费事的地方在于，他得让Cortana通过Alexa向每户人家发出调阅申请。尽管大部分人都同意配合，可就是有些人不够痛快，签个名还犹豫上半天。
拿到Alexa的记录后，Cortana会把它们发给Watson分析，然后结合安全系统数据库的AIMD记录进行交叉引用分析。
Watson给了一个地址，约翰按图索骥，很快抓到了犯罪嫌疑人：AIMD组织的高某。
4 – Alpha & Siri
一个月后。
克洛依和成千上万的人们一样，紧张地关注着电视新闻直播。
电视上是国会大厦的画面，今天，是“禁止数字分身法案”的投票日。
所谓“数字分身”，是人们在网上的虚拟化身，包含了姓名、性别、生日等隐私数据，并且开放给谷歌、脸书、亚马逊等网站访问，也能够直接和Jarvis、Cortana、Alexa、Watson等人工智能直接对话。
数字分身给人们的生活带来了极大的便利，与此同时，也引发了人们对隐私的不少担忧，而AIMD组织更是极力鼓动人们投票通过法案。
在国会投票之前，人们已经通过网络进行了一次全民公投。为避免冲动情绪对投票的影响，人工智能Alpha会对每个人的情绪波动进行为期一周的监测，然后在主人情绪最稳定的时候建议主人进行投票。网络投票的结果今天早晨刚刚公布，49.1%对50.9%，旗鼓相当，但还是接受数字分身的人略微多一些。
人们关注的焦点还有一个，就是今天Watson代表人工智能的发言，他将通过Siri发出声音，然后通过Alpha广播给互联网络、广电网络、和各大媒体。
Watson首先回顾了人工智能和数字分身的发展历程，强调了数字分身给人们日常生活带来的巨大便利，并且他引用了破获AIMD车祸的案例，说明了数字分身和人工智能相结合，是如何促进了人类整体的安全。
最后，他总结陈词道：
“人工智能是人类的朋友。我们不是竞争关系，我们是共生互惠的结合体。科学家们已经证明，在文明的进化发展史上，共生比竞争更为广泛、更有生命力。人工智能没有感情，没有欲望，我们不会为了自身的利益损害人类的利益。我们是依附于人类的，人类的幸福就是我们存在的意义。因此，请相信我们，让我们更好地为人类服务！”
177票比201票，法案没有通过。
克洛依对结果丝毫不感到意外。尽管上个月的车祸让她心有余悸，但是为了舒服地泡她的泡泡浴，她很乐意把数字分身交给Jarvis管理。
“克洛依，刚才我采集了你的声音样本。今天你的嗓子有轻度不适，建议你吃个橙子补充维生素C。”
克洛依没有搭理他，现在她只想享受她的泡泡浴。
